Season: April-May (some years early June)
Location: 120 Miles east of Yreka, CA

This free flowing springtime run is California’s finest and most impressive whitewater canyon. Carving a spectacular gorge through the remote and beautiful Salmon Mountains it has appropriately earned National Wild River designation. This run provides superb scenery with side creek waterfalls and thick forests between the wild rapids Bloomer, Airplane, Cascade, Big Joe and Freight Train. This trip is challenging and is recommended for the active, and adventurous guests looking for a real whitewater experience.

This river isn't for the meek or mild at heart. It's a terrific run for experienced paddlers thirsting for a first-rate whitewater challenge.

For those looking for a full outdoor experience, we offer two days of rafting on the Cal. Salmon combined with camping.
