Rentals Whitewater Connection offers high quality wetsuit, tent and sleeping pad rentals. Rentals are available on all river trips offered by Whitewater Connection. Tent, pad & Chair Rentals Two person tents are available for rent from Whitewater Connection. High quality 3-season tents are assembled by our staff and are ready to use upon your arrival at our South Fork of the American River Base Camp. On rivers other than the South Fork of the American, our staff will assist you in assembly. We highly recommend tents as a precaution on all April and May trips. Thick, comfortable, fabric coated, foam pads are available. Reservations must be made in advance.
Wetsuit Rentals To keep you warm on cool or rainy days, we offer wetsuit rental packages that include Farmer John wetsuits, paddling jackets, thick polypropylene sweaters, and wetsuit booties. Sizing information is provided in your general information packet which you will receive upon confirmation of your reservation. Rentals must be reserved in advance. Reservations or sizing changes made within 5 days of a trip will be surcharged 50% of the rental fee (excluding rentals made at our South Fork Camp Store on the day of trip, based on availability). Sizing requests must be made in writing and a complete roster list be mailed, e-mailed or faxed by the group organizer to our office at least 5 days in advance.
